good to see Supperclub is still drawing a good sized crowd on the weekends......it was really one of the first medium sized venues to catch on in San Fran and its always had a more mature fashionable crowd. Also thier cocktail menu is one of the best in the city!!! LOVED the swimwear fashion show Supperclub hosted this past weekend =) |

Checked out DJ Rap at the Supperclub for the first time last weekend (Sat May 31, 2008). Short queue to get in and the venue seemed decent with good space for dancing (this was after Union Street Festival so this may be an exception to both the above). Mixed drinks hit the spot and the bar folks seemed pleasant. Surprisingly was able to have a conversation with my friends on the dance floor without being drowned out by the sound system -which is a plus unless you know sign language. |

I hate feeling crowded and supperclub offers a patron many places to move around and enjoy yourself. Based on design, sound, and decor - Supperclub is my favorite venue in San Francisco right now. I like the main room a lot. I think if the event planner does it 'right', it can be a really hot party. It's never stuffy or overly packed, as many of the other popular locals in SF. I will do an event there soon. |

Supperclub is fun, but you have to be in the mood for the scene. It is all house/trance music and if you want to dance to that sort of music it's the place to be. the atmosphere is fun with beds everywhere to make things interesting. it's not my every weekend spot but when i am in the mood for the house it's the place to be. |

This is a review for the "supper" side of the supper club, not the "club" side.
Let me begin by stating that one of my BEST friends works in the kitchen here... So the nice side of me wants to give this place 5 stars and only say nice things.... talk about how amazing the food is, and how great the staff is and how wonderfully different the entire environment is here.... so I will... but I'll also mention some of the not-so-five-star qualities. mainly the operations side of this fine eatery.
So after a year of trying to figure out what to expect I become friends with someone who works here and give it a try. The website is of no use @ all other then to give out dated menues and really make the place seem far more pretentious then we tend to allow in SF. They are working on shifting around their PR which i'm happy to see.
Now they are WORKING on most of the negative points i'm about to address. so in due time, it will be much better:
the food... is excellent. but the style of service does not guarantee the food will get to you still hot, which is a bummer. Food is obviously not the owners main concern here... there are @ least 2 servers to every member of the kitchen in a place where everyone get's sat @ the same time and has a pre-set menu... doesn't make much sense So they really need more then 4 people in the kitchen @ a time.
not as much entertainment as I'd hoped for...but it is fun although, again, the food lacks because of the poor scheduling.
this may sound petty... but for $70 (w/o drinks and no choice of what i eat) i expect my food to come out to me properly.
I really DID enjoy my time here but i think they need to keep reevaluating their priorities or all this place will ever be is a nightclub... and since i'm not really "into" techno... serve no purpose for me.
again... my main concern is the value you may/not get for what you put into it. I suggest they keeping the SAME price and just including a drink or two in the meal... I mean once you have 1-2 drinks...you WANT to buy more right ;) and then just stay and party all night
To wrap it up, It's really a work in progress and it will be great to see what they do with it to fit it into SF better. Everyone should really go and give it a shot, i PROMISE that you will have fun! And I can't wait to go back again either!

I've only been to Supperclub for their afterhours, never for dinner (though I plan to go, one day). The place is almost surreal, with huge beds and pillows surrounding you. Their parties always attract interesting crowds of beautiful people. The dancers put you in a trance, along with the great sound system. I also love movie night hosted @ Supperclub. It's the perfect place for a movie with friends. And the free popcorn is a plus! |

This is the place you take people for a unique San Francisco experience. Dinner, dancing, entertainment, and lounging. What's not to love. Dance on the furniture if you like. The range of talent is impressive and unpredictable. The food never disappoints and the presentation is imaginative.
Once you've experienced dinner, everyone is ready for a good time and the energy is great.

What can be better than having a meal with you friends, everyone is on white beds in a white room for hours of decadence. Then when dinner and amazing entertainment has ended, and the food has settled, you get the very BEST of local and international house music to top off a perfect night...

OMG, I do need to pause a moment and pay homage to Supperclub. I first experinced Supperclub in Rome, a couple years before it came here to SF. What a fun, exceptional and surreal environment. Not only is a great club, bar and restaurant... but it's a place where I always know I can dress up, play and have exceptional ful. PLUS... who minds dinner in BED!!! xoxo LOVE Supperclub for sure! |

Never been for dinner and the show, but the club afterwards is always an experience...in a good way, very good. With it's unique disco ball bar and chilly white atmosphere in the main room, this place is in a league of its own. The block rocking beats of international house music pump through the speakers creating a welcoming stage for the international crowd this place attracts. Highly recommended. |

I give supper club a 5 for entertainment and ambiance, and a 3-4 for quality of food. It is a great place to take a group of friends to let loose and have a good time! Definitely worth the 3 to 5 hours! |

Love it. Haven't done the whole dinner extravaganza, but as a night club I always have fun there. Large dancefloor with cool music and two floors lined with beds to go chill out and have a drink on. Oh...and whoever decided to do the movie night on Mondays there is brilliant. |

Came out on a Monday night for Zoolander movie night and my first reaction was this place is too cool. Interior is striking and I love the "beds," super comfortable and decadent. Also, best pomegranate cosmo I have ever had and the food was tasty (I can't wait to see what they can do on a regular night). I am definitely psyched to come back and see what it is like as a club, hence the inability to give it a 5. I will be bringing people here for the next movie night! Could see the potential in this being a great place for groups and special occasions. |

I have been to the Supperclub about three or four times and I love it, especially when DJ Donovan throws his party's here. It's crazy! (Good crazy!) Then recently I was told that this divine nightclub was also a restaurant. So, I gathered a few friends together on Saturday to try this New, Dinner/show?. The entertainment was great, but the Food takes center stage. The wonderful mix of international flavors was a superb five course surprise. They say that, “Dinner is a culinary journey through different dishes and countries, with new flavours and savours”…..and they mean it. Miss. Sledge |

Recently attended a Donovan party at Supperclub ...and had one of the best nights out in San Francisco in recent memory!
The venue is a tight fit in some spots and the bar gets very busy however the well lit front room contrasts well with the spacious and dimly lit main dance hall. Plus, I always love a good mezzanine and catwalk fully equiped with silhoutettes of curvacious live dancers! As far as such in SF in go, I'd put it up there with the DNA lounge... However its not quite Studio 54 or that club from the movie Juice!!! 4 stars out of 5. ~NATE MEZMER |

Been here a couple of times and always have fun! The music is great,crowd is mixed and the beds make for an interesting time. I highly recommend it. |

There are plenty of things that I like about SupperClub. The decor is great, I love the large visuals screen, the bartendars move pretty quickly, and there is always an interesting crowd. The best parties have been when they brought in DJ Rap.
My complaints are about what actually makes this club unique, so I have mixed feeliengs.
- Because you can eat there, the main room doesn't open until midnight. Meanwhile, all of these people are packing into the front bar area. The little room off to the side has a huge bed that takes up all of the space. I think there should just be a sofa or two in there. Helllo.....some people want to dance!
- The main room has beds lining the whole wall of the club. This takes up precious dancing real estate. I'm cool with the ones upstairs, people are usually just chillin up there anyway. But when it's a packed night, man....all I can think about is, "geez, could you get these beds out of the way so there is more room!"
And so I give this place a 3. I'm a girl that likes to get her boogie on, and there just never seems to be enough space at this venue to do it. |
