always reliable for a good time.
When i go out I like to go where people are actually having fun. a lot of things you've heard about this club are true... yes there is a tight "door discretion" policy... and unfortunately if you're new to town or not "connected" people do wait. Once inside you are embraced by gorgeous decor, excellent drinks (try their mojito), and a very attractive and social crowd. nightlife in LA can be frustrating at times...especially when you're looking to go out to the spot that everyone's talking about. The venue looks great. but as for the crowd, it really depends on who's promoting that night. Area is one of the nicer clubs in LA, though I did not have good experience when i went there, not because of the club itself but because of the crowd. Check out which nights which promoters throw the club first. Simple clubbing 101 |

The last time I went to Area I decided that I wouldnt be going back. It might be the fav of some but it's not my style. I had a table with 3 bottles and saw my hostess maybe 2 times throughout the night. They also let more and more and more dudes in as the night goes on that it can get pretty overloaded on testosterone... Was really good at one point but I think it's going off "Hills" buzz and not really making for the best night out anymore.

Went on a Saturday for what I think was 80's night. Very cool set up with lots of room to navigate and a some room outside for a smoke. Lively, hot, energenic crowd and top notch service. Can't really ask for more, can you? |

A great young trendy Hollywood nightclub. I like the Mod/Modern fusion theme. The bars are nice, pricey drinks but nothing more than any other place in Hollywood. There is an outdoor patio built adjacent to the club. I think there is usually a guest list, so make sure you bypass the wait and make a bottle service reservation or know someone with a table to get in on busy nights.

One of my favorite clubs in hollywood. Some say I baised because i promote for this club on wednesdays, but it is not the case I have been coming to area on wednesday nights long before I started promoting. That is actually how I got started. This club is a bit of a pain to get into at first. The door is tight! for good reason. Alot of beautiful people, and celebs. The staff is friendly. This place is always off the hook. Great for networking if you are in the entertainment business... Lots of producers, actors, dj's, models, etc... you name it. A Paper.
If you are one, or are in need of meeting one.. this is the place.. Personally i never go to any other nights but they may be great... check out the Events area on EVR in Los Angeles and you will see some nights to choose from. Wednesday night is my night.. hit me up if your in town ;) |

Area has been around for quite a while now and is STILL a super sexy venue! Friday night is frequented by the insanely hot as much as ever. Awesome music and a brilliant layout. If you haven't been, you should make it a priority to check it out. If you've been there then i'm sure you agree :) |

The place got a little too mainstream to me. The place is great if you have yourself a table because it gets too packed. but for first time people visiting LA, then Area is the place to be. |

Great place to chill, I met tons of cool people. The venue is awesome I love the 60's decor and design. I would definitely go back I had a blast. |

Courteous doorstaff. Prompt admission. Cool lighting inside. People actually dance (as opposed to standing there doing nothing). Only annoying thing was they like to play a handful of songs like 10 times. FYI: girls goto a guy bartender; guys goto a girl bartender. |

Overall decent venue. Decor is average, service is decent, sound is good, and the crowd is chic.. Best part about it are the LED ceiling flush dance floor lighting which makes for some nice light shows to the beat of music. |

Wednesday night at Area is sick. Know somebody if you want in (even extremely hot girls stuck out in the perpetual line), and try and get there early as opposed to late. I love the layout and the crowd is especially great on weds. |

Cub AREA on Friday Sep. 7 was amazing..meet up with Jeff and Devon from Sunset Tan and Partyed Like Rock Starzz at their Table! I would Highly recommened this place to people who love Ballin Out Like me...

If you don't live in LA, this place is "currently" a must-go-to spot (currently as this changes every season it seems like in LA). Regardless of its small size, almost every night this spot is filled with hot people from all over. Good looking people, beautiful interior, and on point music are guaranteed, but so is a tough door policy. Know someone, get there early, have a good guy/girl ratio (1:3 if not better) or get bottle service. |
