Oh Harry Denton, how you made our lives better.... Starlight room started the downtown scene, it is the OG of union square clubs. Great view of the city, best mix of music and people is on Wed nights. Price is alright for a hotel club, but be nice to the bartenders, they get swamped so wait your turn. |

Starlight has THE best view of the city. Its especially nice to see the city from here during Christmas when everything lit up. If you get there early enough you might be shocked by the number of elderly, rich people walking around. But as it gets late people start showing up to party. Don't be surprised if you see Harry Denton walking around chatting it up with the customers. This place has a lot of history too. |

I went for NYEE this year, amazing views of the city! A great place to wear a fun dress and enjoy a swank ambiance. The booths are super comfortable and offer a romantic spot and the sleek bar is a nice sophisticated singles scene, too. |

I attended the 11th Anniversary of Indulgence at Harry Denton's Starlight room. I highly recommend the anniversary events. The private 'industry' reception (7:30 to 9PM) is definitely a great scene. Frankly, I had forgotten how great the view of SF is at the Starlight room. The view of San Francisco is stunning. It makes you truly appreciate the beauty of San Francisco. Be sure to get a booth or a table though ... you won't have nearly as much fun standing around (when it gets crowded you will inevitably get bumped into quite a bit and security will start to annoy you as they attempt to control the flow of body traffic). Again, the Starlight (special events) is a great experience. ~m |

The Starlight Room has been around as long as I have been out and about in San Francisco. However, it has lost very little of its original attraction, elegant decor and incredible views. I have only been to Harry Denton's for Wednesday's "Indulgence" but its a great compliment as the party is always popular and the night views while listening to music and having a drink is almost unparalleled. |
