I had a good time here, three babes and a bus stops here so it can get pretty busy. They also had some male strippers while I was there...ewwww... I feel bad for the poor guys stuck watching |

I used to go to Glas Kat all the time, but I actually haven't been there in a couple years, from what I remember it was fun I was 21 at the time, and it seemed like there were a lot of young people there. I heard it has gotten a lil bit "ghetto" but who knows I need to see for myself! |

I went on a weeknight when they feautured a live salsa band...it's a great place to go practice your salsa moves but ladies, it's best if you go with a salsa partner you know rather than meet one there. Im just sayin'. |

Glas Kat has endured many different promoters, club seasons, and popular formats. I have been to the location in its many different guises over the last 18 years. I really like the space but the interior is now dated (as is their marketing collateral and website). Even with the right lighting and a great music format, it still struggles to compete (at very best). However, that isn't to say that there are some really fun parties. As it caters to a lot of "commercial", large scale parties, I find myself with far less opportunities to go there in the last few years. Its no longer in my Top 20 and hope that a new owner or new investment give it the face lift it deserves. Again, if there is a big promoter with a great crowd, you can't go wrong because of the history in that building and the venue size/layout - just don't expect to be amazed. |
