Social Scene was the best I've seen in SF if your into house/80's & overall good talent. The vibe was energetic on a Friday and most of the people were very friendly. |

I like this place because it's large and in charge. It's a big venue and people can comfortably maneuver from one bar to the next and dance in between. However, it doesn't really have the charm of some our other SF venues; no Harlot sexiness, no Ambassador class, just a lot of brick and space. Its very much an 18 up type of setup. It does have a stage (that I almost fell off from) and that back room which is cool. |

Well anyone with experience knows that people that run the joint are more important than the location or decor or any factor. CityVisions & Vintage415 are one of the best promotion/dj management teams out there. Donovan did the grand opening April 5th, and it was a hit. Vintage415 did the 2nd Saturday and it was HIT - and now its my turn www.TopNotchSF.com this saturday night! 3rd times the charm! (inside joke) |

I really like it, but there are honestly 2 problems- 1) in SOMA on a small side street and 2) just not enough people know about it. Other than that, I think this is a great venue to have a drink and dance. The vibe is lounge-y and relaxed, with a good size dance floor coupled with enough booths and seating. There are also 2 bars that are long and a good distance from each other, so getting a drink doesn't feel like a chore. It's a chill space and I think it would be great for a band or other live act. Now we just need to get people there... |
