Always too fucking crowded...rarely a good DJ. LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff though. It's really not worth your time unless you have a table and don't mind fraternizing with ugly , fat, and ghetto people. |

I never fully understood the layout of this venue. The bar takes up most of the space, and it's an oddly shaped rectangular joint. They usually have decent music, but there's no true dance floor. I've been here a handful of times, but if you're looking for something of substance in San Francisco this probably isn't my number one choice. |

It's fun if you go with your own crew and don't stay long. The last time I was there I saw only a few people I wanted to meet/chat up and they were the ones at my table! The crowd can be very......hmm, how should I put this, not the most attractive. The club itself is nice so my advice, go when your friends are or when they have a special even/dg/ promoter.... |

I like Fluid a lot on Saturday nights with resident DJ, DJ Scotty Boy (Rehab Vegas). It's a fun, hip spot that takes you into a trance with the multi color, changing floor and industrial, concrete feel throughout. There isn't anything like it in the City, I would compare it to Bed in NYC, minus the actual beds. Can get crowded with slim to none seating, unless you get a bottle, but all in all, a great place to pop in for a few drinks before you carry on the rest of your evening, Enjoy! |

Ive only been there once, and I dont think ill ever go again. The crowd is not the one that you will like to see. There is nothing special about this place. |

When I went to Fluid they were having a big promotional party. The crowd was not bad. It was small and a little too crowded but I got to talk to a couple of interesting people. |

The crowd is not good looking, very random spot, full of unattractive guys who smelled, I've been twice..the first time it was lame and too many 40+ fat old men hounding me and my girls on a thursday... and the second time some wierdos and the girls are not hot either on a saturday.. it's just not a go-to glamorous spot... maybe they need to be more selective on the crowd ...the decoration lighting was nice, valet was the best part because I could get in and get out just as quick..I'd rather hang around my neightborhood spin ultralounge |

I went to Fluid for the first time I believe about two weekends ago. It was a Saturday night and we had bottle service so we were way in the back, kind of cutoff to the rest of the lounge. Gnerally, I like that. But, it seemed like when they let people in, later in the night (that weren't vip) it became alot more fun. The area in between the tables with service became full of dancers. I like the look of the place, not that big, but i love the cool neon colors. People were cool, dressed nice, I would say in their mid 20's. It was cool, I'd go again. |

Went on a whim... The music was fine but the dance floor is terrible... You just can't get around the bar. and the drinks were sorely disappointing... and over prices... damn. but it's a great LOOKING place! |

I would definitely like to check this place out another time. First time there we were wanting table service, but I guess they were sold out so we had to chill at the bar. Im not a fan of bartenders who take their own tips out of your drink change. Whats that about? Music was off the hook though, Scotty Boy kept everything live. Rather small and the lit floors "slippery when wet". |

I don't party in the city much and it was my first time @ Fluid this past Saturday (11/17/07). I liked the venue and thought it was a nice lounge. We had great service (maybe because I was there for a private birthday party, didn't have to wait in line, and our area was roped off). I personally wasn't feelin' the crowd that night and thought that the music was okay. Maybe I just went on an off night?? |

N-O. This bar/club is absolutely nothing special. First of all... I put my boyfriend and I on the list, only to get there and find out I put us on there "too late" even though the website said "SUCCESS!". The guy at the door was alright though, he still let me in for free... but he charged my boyfriend $15 (even though we were also on another list that he "didn't have yet"). We get inside and I expect it to be really cool... since I'd heard great things about it... and uhh... well... this whole bar is about the size of my apartment. Maybe even smaller. There were all these older people there too who looked really awkward and uncomfortable. I'm not saying old people shouldn't be able to go out and have a good time, but it was weird because they were wearing name tags... and some of them smelled a little... and I dunno... In my opinion, if you're trying to promote a certain image... maybe you should limit the number of smelly people you allow in. If we hadn't been with a friend at his table... we sure as hell would have left a lot sooner than we did. |

I love taking pictures at Fluid because of the AWESOME lighting on the floor and in the bar area. My favorite time to go is Open Bar Thursdays (which has become more frequent as of late) because everyone is super-hyped and ready to have a good time. I've always receieved great treatment from the bouncers to the coat check girls, to the bartenders.... everyone there is super nice. If you are kind to them, they'll return the favor. If you go in there being snobby and impatient, they'll return that too. Fluid also has the BEST guest DJs. I saw both DJ Jazzy Jeff and Ali Shaheed Muhammed from a Tribe Called Quest spin there. All I have to say is WOW. Amazing. |

Nice vibe, so fun when Scotty Boy is there! He should be djTigger.. Bounce bounce bounce.. never running out of energy! The bartenders beautiful, making my hubby spend lotsa money, and super friendly! Best of all.. you can see the people in there!

If you want to talk club design, you could tell me that Fluid is too small, and the bar built too big. You could say the VIP back area is oddly shaped and the dance floor is too small. However, all that talk won't capture the fact that you will not find any club in the city that has as many regulars as Fluid and such low turn over in their staff. They know how to treat their employees and they also know how to treat their customers. Most of the bartenders and cocktail waitresses have been at Fluid since it opened over 3 years ago. And the regulars go back to Fluid for a reason, the club is consistently filled, they have the best hip hop DJs in the city and the service is fantastic. On top of it all, Fluid has one of the best VIP host in the city and an owner who can out party almost anyone...if you doubt this, go to Vegas with him and you will realize you're an amateur of partying. |

I don't really frequent SF enough, but everytime I ask someone where I should check out in the city....FLUID always comes up. Ive been there a few times and always had fun. I like the lighting in there so they can see me haha. I want to marry each of the bartenders lol Ted Skillet 'Mr Myspace' had his dirty 30 birthday there last friday, so obviously its a well-respected venue...and good times. |
