I have much love for this place! We had a big group for my birthday and was originally had a table at Taste Ultra Lounge, but they would not let one of my friends in because he was wearing nice "tennis shoes". Needless to say, I was very upset, so we walked down the street and found Fahrenheit.
They immediately accommodated our group, got us a table, and immediate bottle service. The service was unbelievable and I don’t think there was a time where we were looking for a waitress. They turned an event that could have gone ugly to fabulous. I would recommend this spot for anyone who wants to have a good time after visiting Santana Row. I give Fahrenheit five stars and my only complaint is I wished it was closer.

Fahrenheit is very small. The staff is delightful from the door/security to the bartenders. Even the dj played some really good house music, and I do mean house, not techno. (yes there is a difference). Fahrenheit seems like a perfect place for a birthday or a date. The venue wasn't packed, so it didn't get damp or anything, and I always returned to the dance floor knowing I would have a spot to dance. ha! Don't be dressed down before entering this club though... 7/12/2008 9:17:49 AM

Fahrenheit usually has an upscale crowd thats usually looking to meet older people. They play a lot of House, Techno, and Trance. Drinks are definately overpriced however. 4/27/2008 2:05:01 PM

Maybe it's because I'm a San Jose native, but the few times I've been to this club I've NEVER enjoyed myself! Granted it is a very nice venue, but what does ambiance have to do with it when you're not having fun? I usually only go when my friends' are celebrating a birthday, and even then when I'm around people I like, I still don't enjoy myself and end up sitting all night! 4/16/2008 6:00:46 PM

Fahrenheit is way too small. n security service is pretty rude..SJ clubs are not the best but this place is not worth it. 3/19/2008 8:26:45 AM

Really over looked by many, you need to walk in and experience what they have to offer, great music, ambiance, food, and great drinks, its the alternative to the mega club out there , and the quality of people that attend fahrenheit is unmatched.. This new party starting up over there is thursday nights @ the heit looking foward to it!! 2/12/2008 9:38:55 AM

Considering it's been awhile since I've been out in SJ, or just flat out...."OUT" in general, I was pleasantly surprised to find such a chic and fashionable scene in downtown SJ. I recently attended a birthday party at Fahrenheit and was amazed to find their food quite pleasant. Although I did call it an early night, I immensely enjoyed not only my drink but the ambiance and atmosphere that Fahrenheit was able to provide. I would highly recommend this bar/club for a girls night out.....at least a quick visit for the food! YUM! 2/10/2008 12:47:47 AM

3 Stars- Fahrenheit is best when you're looking for somewhere to lounge with friends and escape from the usual club environment. 2/4/2008 10:39:24 AM

The best place to go in San Jose! Upscale, great drinks, food, music, and decor. I've held my birthday part there a number of times and it's always been a fantastic time. Stop by for a quick drink or to dance the night away. 11/15/2007 9:52:38 AM

Come for the tasteful cuisine... stay for the great music & entertainment! This is Downtown San Jose's best place to unwind with the classy & social elite. "Fashion Club" Tuesdays are industry night where everyone who's anyone comes to party. No to mention Thursdays are getting hotter for the upscale with the opening of "Ninety-Nine Degrees". If you're in town this is one stop you don't want to miss!! 4/6/2007 4:02:02 PM

Fahrenheit, A Great Venue, But not until Now the Grand Opening of "Fashion Club" Tuesdays at Fahrenheit will make it a weekly destination for Industry Proffessionals, and The Elite Social. Not mention the Food is Awesome! 2/7/2007 3:17:35 PM

I think they should include more 'covered' classy dancers near the dj booth and give it more of a club scene vibe on weekends. Its too loungy. Its a good place to start off, but I always end up checking some other places out after a few drinks. 2/1/2007 5:49:48 PM

I agree with the rest of the reviews on this one, Fahrenheit is the only club in SJ that makes the mark. It is definately a classy place with a chic crowd!! I personally don't care for going out in SJ so much but Fahrenheit is by far an exception in my book! 12/30/2006 11:58:06 AM

This is the only place in downtown SJ that I actually look forward going to. Fahrenheit is more than a fad and the crowd stays consistently chic (well...as chic as it can get in SJ). The bartenders and the rest of the staff are genuinely friendly. The space is smaller than other lounges/clubs but that is what makes this place great. In that small space you are assured great company. And don't miss out on the garlic noodles (bring your Altoids)! See you there! 11/20/2006 5:48:11 PM

THANK GOODNESS there is one place in downtown San Jose that has kept the integrity of a chic crowd and ambiance and hasn't gone g-fab on me past it's one-year mark. Everything here is great - food, staff, drinks, music, and crowd. What's also neat is that there is something different going on there every night of the week (except for Sundays and Mondays when they're closed). It's the only place in downtown SJ that you'll find me on a regular basis. It is a small space so if you like a place where you can move from room to room, this isn't it (you can walk thru the place in literally a minute) but it is an warm, intimate setting and the pretention isn't overwhelming or uncalled for. 11/14/2006 4:21:20 AM

Fahrenheit is a great lounge. Should you decide to stop in prior to 'club hours' you will be pleasantly surprised by the food. It's good. On some nights you will get to witness a very cool fire breathing act by the bar staff. Fahrenheit is not the typical downtown San Jose club/lounge. Fahrenheit appeals to a slightly more sophisticated audience. While not intending to insult any of the people that frequent the downtown SJ scene, I wonder if Fahrenheit would have been more appreciated in San Francisco. I guess we will never know ... Fahrenheit gets my nod. 11/2/2006 12:42:21 AM

Let's put it this way, Fahrenheit is the only place I go on my day offs that's in downtown San Jose and pretty much one of the only venues I haven't worked at.. so this isn't a paid review! haha. The food is simply to die for, the music played isn't your run of the mill hyphy ghetto mix, the staff/owners are all amazing people, the talent that's brought in on a monthly basis doesn't compare to any location in the South Bay, and the crowd there is classy and not your typical clubbers that are out every night going to the hottest spot because "EVERYONE" will be there.. It's about quality, not quantity and longevity in the industry and Fahrenheit doesn't sell out to overexposed lame or cheesy promoters just to make a quick buck. Anybody I know that hasn't been to Fahrenheit that I reccomended come in only needed one visit and they haven't stoped yet. 9/30/2006 9:20:53 PM

nicest most 'taken for granted' venue by some, most adored venue by many...Have much respect for the owners and this venue because they gave me a chance and it helped me put my name on the map... 9/27/2006 8:20:15 PM

I've been to Fahrenheit a hand full of times. Absolutely love it. Haven't had the food, still curious to try it. Music is always fun. Drink prices are surprisingly reasonable. Waitstaff in button-down shirts and ties tends to a crowd of businesspeople, tattooed regulars, cap-wearing bachelors and fashionable bachelorettes. Overall, makes it worth a visit at least every week. 8/8/2006 3:54:52 PM
