Nic's is a swanky and very unpretentious little place in Beverly Hills that is ideal if you're looking for a 'no hassle' evening in LA. The place looks great. The walls are adorned with some very interesting art work and the overall ambiance is very welcoming. There is a vodka freezer in the back stocked with some very exotic vodkas from all over the world. Be sure to put on one of their fake furs because it is truly cold back there. I didn't have a coat on so I cut my stay back there very short. No vodka in the world is worth that much discomfort ;) The night I went I was lucky to experience some live music. I didn't catch the name of the band or the vocalist but I have a feeling I will be hearing more about these guys. Although I didn't hear any of their original stuff, the covers they performed were such brilliant adaptations of the originals that I have to imagine that their original material is quite good. Again, great little spot and I will be going back. |
