This is the best club in SF right now, without a doubt. Sooooo fun. The crowd gets loose and has fun to anything and everything that rules. I played The Ramones there and they jumped up and down and had a blasty blast. The staff is awesome too. |

This place is hit or miss depending on the DJ & promoter. Friday/Saturday usually a unsavory crowd with Top 40 & Thursday can be really good just flip a coin and see what happens... |

if you want a ruby skye crowd but on a smaller scale this is a good place to check out. very nice decor, bartenders pour good drinks. |

Apartment 24 has the good drinks great decor to have fun...
I went to Apartment 24 on a Friday night for my friend Aimee's birthday. Now apparently (I never had been) Apartment 24 is the old Dolce. The owners of that place (another who owns something in The Marina maybe?) re-designed this place. I believe I learned that the same designer of Harlot, did the works for Apartment 24...a major plus.
Apartment 24 is more lit and bright colored than Harlot. Less Gothic, less dark, more bright. I enjoyed this place. I like the strong drinks, quick and nice bartenders, and the nice/fun DJ.
Although the DJ was not properly playing, he was playing songs way too fast, not enough of the track, then skip to the next one. But he was still fun, minus some issues with that...Apt. 24 could kick major ass if the right DJ is there.
The different booth areas are all good. The back section of the club has a great set of bartenders in a tiny bar (who I was told later, charge more than the main bar for drinks!?) NOT COOL. But they were good Jack and Cokes. The VIP booth areas were nice, but I wouldn't really recommend them, they weren't as fun as Harlot, nor Vessel. IF that helps anyone. Buuuuut, different atmosphere, noted.
Disclaimer for Apartment 24: Don't SLIP! Damn! Careful! Haha, some of the sections of their tile floors and near stairs to the back, near the bathrooms, people could go down easy!
Also, make sure the DJ is somewhat "Dialed In" to what he is Spinning and such...cause then everyone will be happy on the dance floor.
I think that Apartment 24 is great for a small or large group of friends. It's small, but not packed. You can locate friendlies all over in a quick few minutes.

How much do I love Apartment 24? This place is great and I love how it's been renovated. My favorite night to go is Thursdays for Nate Mezmer's Members Only parties. I celebrated my birthday there and we definitely got hooked up! The rotating DJs provide for some of the best hip hop in the city. The crowd is always interesting, attractive and stylish. You won't be disappointed. |

Sasha invited me to Apartment 24 so my friend and I headed there on a Friday night. We had a great time. Excellent DJ, and the dance floor was just packed enough to have fun but not bump into people too too much. The bartenders were fast and the drinks were great. We'll for sure be back. We liked the fact that even the VIP area made us feel like we weren't too far away from the main action. Thanks Sasha! We'll be back there for sure. |

Just went there recently for the first time.
Simple but cool interior design, good music played, good ratio, fun crowd..
Basically, it's a relatively small place but it was packed and fun, so i'll certainly go there again.
Don't miss out on the pizza place next door when you get out at 2am. :)

I was very disappointed when I walked into this club. (1) the website makes it look a lot swankier than it is (2) its super small (3) after hearing all the hype about it, I thought that it would at least meet my expectations. I never checked it out when it was Dolce (I'm assuming it hasn't changed all that much), and probably be as disappointed back then as I was with my first time there! The one good thing about it is that it didn't get too corwded and you were actually able to dance on the dance floor without feeling cramped and confined. |

A throwback to my college days- a better dressed sorority invitational, and the crowd is about that young. On the upside some nice changes have been made from the Dolce days- the DJ set up is much better on the back wall and makes traffic flow much easier now that it is out of the way of the path to one of two VIP areas. Really liked the cityscape backdrop behind the bar and the first VIP area looks really private. Other than that I don't see much change from Dolce. It is still the club that is the first step between college and the more upscale scene. It was good to try it out and see the makeover, but I don't think I will be visiting again- I can revisit my college days again during football saturdays. |
