A great place to go with a group. Fun California tapas. Great seafood and a nice selection of wines. A good place to try a unique drink like the mango pina colada. |

J Bar is another reason to love living in San Diego... Rooftop bars during most of the year are just another perk of living in a semi-tropical city. J Bar is no exception, and definitely one of the more beautiful. Since its tied into a hotel the crowd ranges from local scenesters to traveling business types. Get there before midnight though or run the risk of having to sneak in via the hotel (it is possible, and has been done many times before). J Bar is also a nice alternative to Sidebar if they are demanding a ridiculous $20 cover, since it's 2 blocks away... |
