classy, hidden, and EXCLUSIVE
This place is honestly a gem in the heart of hollywood. it's location is very discreet and once you enter the ambiance is unlike anything you've seen in LA. As soon as you walk in, you find yourself in a room with high glass ceilings, ivy, a fire pit and seating areas that remind me of an old study in England. Another room has a great big chandelier and more seating, which leads into the bar area (and what a big, beautiful bar it is). combine that w strong drinks and a HOT crowd and you have a great night. you NEED to know people to get in. curiousity kills the cat...not this cat. if you want to discover that certain je ne sais quoi of a place, you just have to enter and see what's behind 'the green door.' french, rustic, museum-quality. intimate yet spacious at the same time. music was amazingly danceable and just kept on getting better. undefinable genre. crowd-beautiful. although i was just there for a fashion show after party, i'd come back to try their menu, and maybe then i'd give it a 5. |

The club is broken down into three main areas. There is a small outside patio, a large dance hall and a bar area in the rear. It really is a lot larger than I expected it to be.
I visited Green Door on a Wednesday recently, and while there was a good energy here, the crowd did not have the gloss one would expect in a "hot" hollywood club.

Went here on a Saturday night last month. It was a good time, but nothing too special for me. It was better the first time I went in January...like most places, it seems to be dying down a little bit after having been open awhile. No complaints though. |

It had been a while since I had visited The Green Door and it was nice to see that the ambiance had remained intact. Upon walking in, my companion and I were both greeted by a glass of champagne. What a warm welcome :) Due to its door policy the Green Door has been blessed with longevity. It's lost the 'new car smell' but it continues to be a good place to stop in for a good time. |

Ambiance is amazing!
Music abs amazing, staff was friendly inside!
food was delicious, limited menu selection but good ones.
Great place to take a date or just to hang out.

This is a top notch venue. They hold a very tight door which upholds part of what makes this place so amazing. There couldnt have been more than 65 people in at 11:30pm on the weekday I was in. They had one of the best live jazz performances I had ever heard. Beautiful decor, occupancy held light, pricey cocktails....but you get what you pay for and this place is worth the $15 martini. |

This place is everything you need in a classy club/lounge. I went on a Friday and the DJ was fantastic.. great music, cool atmosphere... getting in is the hardest part.. Tom!!!! :) |

The Decor is Very Elegant and Cozy... I had the Open Face Lobster Sandwich/Salad which was Amazing I Would Highly Recommend it.
Please Remember to Keep Your Feet OFF the Furniture. |

This place has great atmosphere. It has an abundance of "old world" charm. From the majestic portraits to the chandeliers, the Green Door takes you to another place and time. Our group had dinner there and it was quite good (except one of our party was not happy with his bass). I had the open faced lobster sandwich (really more of a salad style dish). I would definitely recommend it. The crowd was not your typical club crowd. Most patrons were well dressed. Chances are, if you strike up a conversation with someone here, you will run into someone very interesting. The Green Door is a welcome (and much needed) escape from club land (I would recommend going on a week night). |

This place has the best ambiance! It's gorgeous inside. It has more of an upscale loungy feel and has great wine selections and food options if you decide to dine. It's a great place to mingle. It is connected to Cabana Club, so if you are feeling more of a clubby scene afterwards you can just step next door. I Highly recommend The Green Door. |
