The wine selection is very good, the food is ok, its way too loud there, but then again, its not a fine restaurant, I like the pizza and the oysters. Although, the waiters were a bit of a mess. The scene was definitely hopping but I wasn't that impressed with the food. I found it overly salted and just ok.
For cruising the singles scene I could see the appeal. But on the tough nights Thursday - Saturday, it can be a tough place to get a seat. Impossible to hold a conversation above the din. And definitely don't settle for a bar seat for dining even if that is the only available option left to you. The amount of jostling that occurs as hordes of people move to the bar for the drink result in you wearing more of your food than consuming it.
Sorry district, it's all about the experience and the night I went turned out to be a harrowing one. |
