Etiquette is a small, cozy place that has its nights. On a good night its easy to meet people from its slightly mature (late 20's) crowd. I like that about Etiquette. Also the music is usually good hip hop and the bartenders are very liberal. |

This review is long over due. I was waiting to collect all the stories from the night's events so that I could form a logical opinion.
1). "Event Coordinator" = 1 star. He was very helpful, very responsive and a pleasure to deal with - no attitude (Thanx Neej!).
2). Space/Decor = 1 star. The pics online made the place seem way bigger than it actually is but the decor was nice.
3). The DJ was great. = 1 star. Any DJ that can make you bust out on the dance floor doing the running man and the cabbage patch knows EXACTLY what kind of music to get the drunken party started.
4). Bottle Service = 1 star for the bottles and -1 star for the service. The service was a little slacking, we had to ask for glasses a few times and then just started going to the bar.
The overall opinion of the party crew was positive and the pics proved that good times were had. Thanks for the memories... at least the ones that I can remember.

The decoration is nice and people are great but it doesn't really work for me because I think it could still be improved with space usage. |

Excellent Decor- great use of space. Nice to see a quality business in this section of Market Street as this area is a little run down. With a nicer location this club would be great all around. 4/5 as I wouldnt park my car around here late Saturday night. |

Etiquette is a very nice lounge/Club and nicely decorated, it's a great spot to get the night started before hitting up the clubs. Though Etiquette is nicely decorated it is a little on small side as far as a dance floor goes. |

Etiquette is HAWT! This little slice of exotica on Market @ 7th resembles a plush gothic boudoir. White hott leather sofas line the perimeter, jet black walls are adorned by mysterious over-sized Victorian-inspired portraits of glamorous subjects a la Femme Fatale/Agent Provocateur in ornate, thick, black frames, 2 dance floors rock this house, and booths tucked away in an oasis of vased plants are what make this little hole in the wall shiver me timbers! |

A diamond in the rough...but the rough is getting smoother every single day. Etiquette features signature cocktails, a selective afterdark experience, and a refined decor reminiscent of british regal meets ultra modern. I would recommend the Boudoir parlor area for birthdays and groups. |

Wonderful hidden little gem! Beautiful decor. Great staff. Well drinks. Poppin music. What more would you want?!?!
But... have to say it's in the ghetto part of town. But have no fear SF's finest in force in the area. ;) |

it's all about image: ambiance, the look and the feel of the place. etiquette combines eastern and minimal inspirations with a touch of French old world and a splash of red. to even break the monotonous black, i like the padded white leather (seats and bar) and the white covered books displayed in the shelves. i would like to see this place for private event and socializing. the room is just right for a nice crowd of the same vibe. however, a bigger, public group could make this place overly crowded and impossible to strut your stuff. well, maybe that's why it's called etiquette, you have to have one , in particular, to enjoy. |

I had a chance to check out Etiquette for the first time last night and I was impressed by the interior. Etiquette is a great looking club. Once again, I have a weakness for places that place emphasis on the aesthetic details. Although I didn't get a chance to sit down at the booths ( I was hosting an event) they looked very comfortable. My favorite part of the venue was the white cushion they used to cover some of the walls (nice touch). The Tenderloin district is certainly an "interesting" area but once your inside it's worth the 'dodgy' trek from your car to the club. Etiquette is not a big place ... but i'm a subscriber to the 'less is more' philosophy. I'll be back. |
