wouldn't waste my time here unless its the last place to go...service, ambiance everything ehhh not great. |

I think it has a great lay out and music. The crowd is a little shady, but if you bring your own crew and either leave before closing or stay for an after party it can be a lot of fun. Parking's easier then down town and the drinks and staff i really really like here. I've always had fun and always see someone I know. |

cool outside smoking, You won't get smothered in smoke if you aren't a smoker..
The nite I went there to meet the promoter, there was literally 10 people there, including staff.. so I would have to say it is hit or miss.. weekday was not a hit.
Also, depends who is promoting it, as the promoter I was on the list for wasn't even there. Met David Soto and been his fan ever since.. so guess it was a good thing to be able to hang with him and talk dog tags ;) He's a great client! Also a very attentive VIP host.

Whisper as a facility has gone through several iterations over the years. Recently, there has definitely been some great parties but with any big space, its hit or miss. The venue layout is unique in so far that it isn't traditional (e.g. big box space) - there is something for everyone. On Industry nights or under the guise of a sleek promoter, the venue turns into a top tier club with a great vibe, great sound, and lots of room to dance and drink. Location is above average as it is just after the end of SOMA but still in San Francisco - lots of parking and near freeways. With the multiple floors, different rooms, and outside (smoking) patio, you are never bored with the actual space. If you are following a specific promoter and he has a party at Whisper - don't miss it. |

i went to whisper once, and it was fun, the only thing is its kinda away from the downtown scene. but it was nice and big inside, people were ok, we always have a good time when we r out anyways but that night was FUN! |
