Vessel is a nice private getaway great music, great atmosphere. My friend had a birthday there once and reserved the whole VIP section and they took great care of us! |

Went to Vessel on a Saturday, had a great time. The place had a great atmosphere, great service and bartenders. I am going back soon. |

Vessel is one of my favorite places in the city, I wish it stayed open till 4:00 am, However, it makes up for that minor note with the inclusion of a great space with Dj's that can read the crowd well and keep the dance floor packed. The interior decor consists of warm tones and materials that show off hard clean lines wonderfully and accent the open dance floor that is in the center of the room.
If dancing is not for you, you're still in luck. The readily available comfortable seating that surrounds the dance floor allows for you to kick up your feet and watch the beautiful crowd at vessel dance the night away.
After the coat check upstairs it's always fun to decend the stairs into the main room. You can feel a certain vibe that is hard to describe, but as you enter the room everything seems to happen in slow motion in this underground world. You will immidiatley recognize that feeling of you wanting to come back soon. |

I like this place, great atmosphere and vibe. I just wish it wasn't so damn hot it therrre.....i go cause my friends like it, and I have a friend who works there.. |

Every time I visit Vessel it's like going to a wedding, there is something old and something new, something borrowed and something....okay just kidding.
But seriously, Vessel is a great place to meet people, whether you are looking for friends, casual hook ups or just a good ole fashion good time.
I personally have some old friends who run the place and it's always good to see their smiling faces when I make a visit.
Not too mention the ambiance in this place is down right sexy!!!
A must see if you haven't been.

smoking area ridiculously small and uncomfortable
not alot of dancing going on
packed at midnight
I'd go back with a group when I get a table with a purchase of a bottle vodka for the group.... |

Went here for the first time saturday. Had a blast. I loved the VIP areas and the mood lighting. Overall I recommend Vessel and will definitely be back! |

I dig Vessel a lot...on Friday nights @ least. I like the intimate setting & the crowd is always A+. The music is also great at Vessel on Fridays. Easy #1 choice. |

Best staff in the entire city, by far. Amazing venue, great DJs, usually a great crowd too. Love Harlot and often refer to club as one of my "stomping grounds." Can't get enough of this place and I'm also throwing a party there next month! |

I've been going to clubs for almost twenty years now and I've spent the last seven or so as a club/party promoter and DJ and I have to say Vessel is probably one of the best spots I've ever been to. Since their recent boost to the sound system, Vessel is definitely in an elite class in this city for providing superior sound quality.
But that's not even as good as the design of this place! First of all, love the red, keeps the room warm and inviting. The seating layout is reminiscent of B.E.D in South Beach, but instead of creating exclusive spaces it lends to a more communal atmosphere.
There are so many details in the overall design of any venue that have to be "just right" to make a club or lounge an exciting destination. Vessel has executed them all to create an environment that makes me want to dance and have a good time. The fact that they achieved this within a very high-end, classy parameter speaks volumes. Vessel is a world-class venue, and that's exactly what SF needs. |

The closest thing to the full package...great crowd, music, atmosphere. A lot of clubs/lounges you visit the music is all over the place, and at Vessel you know exactly what your going to get, Fridays/Hip Hop, Saturday/House...and always bring the hottest DJ's! Drinks are a little pricey, but they make them stiff. Can also count on a nice ratio which is always nice. Highly recommend! |

After coming to this place three (3) nights in a row, I felt I had to say something. I also should say I did not plan that at all. The weekend just seemed to have a mind of its own. That or Vessel took over my mind and was controlling my body, which without a mind of its own, was, of course, just a vessel. If so, I certainly didnt mind, because this weekend Vessel re-mind-ed me where in SF to anchor your vessel for a while.
Cool venue, great sound and solid djs. The bartenders are cool and they serve hangar one. The tables are fun and apparently good for dancing. The bathrooms are interesting as there are relaxing surf sounds playing in the stalls and the sinks are shared. A good place to meet people, if you dont mind getting your hands .. clean.
Loses one star for tricking me into coming three nights in a row and leaving me feeling now like I have straight hangar one pumping through my ... vessels.

Vessel, I love you!!! Finally a sophisticated night spot in Union Square with no pretentiousness. It's a little pricey if you get a table, but remember that it also serves as your own little dance floor. Great idea, great music, co-ed restrooms (hot, but weird), and convenient underground smoke room. You better look nice if you are heading to Vessel, it catters to the pretty people. |

Vessel - I am sorry I do not see what the hype is about. I think like any new venue - it was hot 6 months ago. I've been there about 5 times in the past three months, and I am not impressed. They are rude at the door, much like many of the hollywood clubs I used to frequent, HOWEVER their crowd does not constitute their attitude. They should just let everyone in, it won't make a difference. The unisex bathroom section is awkward, and uneasy. They have 12 airplane bathroom style stalls for both sexes, and their mirrors are too short. Anyone over 5'9" will have to crouch to see themselves. It's just a weird dark set-up. If you dont have an overpriced table, you will be sure to be bumped into and/or greeted by a bouncer letting you know to move out of the bottle service section. I will not go there again, and anyone that asks me about this place, this is what I will tell them. Everyone seems to 'hang' in their long aisle section in front of their one and only bar. That section is overly crammed and dark as well. I will give them a '1' for location, being that its in union square. |

Sophisticated & fun! I love the venue...modern lounge with a smaller dance floor and very nice bar. I recommend the table by the tree. |

Vessel visually is a great spot, beautiful decor, nice staff( not bad looking either) location is good to as it's in the Union Square and only blocks away from other good clubs( plus I always find parking on the street). The thing about any club is that it's more about the dj and promoter that makes a club fun. I've been to Vessel when the crowd was hot - been there when the crowd was night. Overall it's one of my main spots check out their website and pick a night:-) |
