I have *really* mixed feelings about this place. Some of the dishes are really good, but this place is way overpriced and I hate coming here with large parties (which has always been the case thus far). I think if I came with maybe 4 people max, I would enjoy it a lot better. In any case, I would highly recommend their lobster tempura, beef tataki (I don't usually eat red meat but this was GOOD), and Grand Marnier souffle (I *love* souffles). Their sauteed foie gras was good but extremely overpriced for an one-bite-sized piece. Their smoked foie gras was horrible and impossibly difficult to swallow down. Overall, the ambiance is nice. Parking in their lot is pretty limited (so it's good to go early or late) but you can park in the Vallco Fashion Mall lot across the street. It's probably worth it to try this place once (preferably with a small group) and see what your own personal preference is for the place, because overall, the food is worth trying at least once. |
