Yamishiro is one of the most well known classic restaurants in Hollywood. It ihas stood the test of time and has one of the most scenic and pictureresque view of the new nightlife and re-birth of Hollywood. With wonderful cuisine including some of their sushi specialities and outstanding service this venue is designed to accommodate both large groups as well as a few tables to take someone for a romantic evening.
Located on top of another landmark in Los Angeles the Magic Castle (members only)this restaurant get high marks and is a strong recommendation from both myself and my partners of Karma Foundaiton. |

Was there late december with my boyfriend. The food, service and views were great. I love this place. Definitely pricey, but worth it for that special evening. |

This is a historical gem slightly away from the madness of Hollywood. I recommend sitting in the garden even in the winter; the have plenty of heat lamps. Otherwise ask to be seated by the windows. The food is good but Yamashiro is more about the experience and atmosphere. The views are great and romantic. You can bring a special date here or just have an amazing time with a group of friends. Hollywood hotspots are only down the hill to lounge/club afterwards. |
