After seeing ODC at Yuerba Buena on Sunday, mom and I were desperate for a bite and the 2 other restaurants we were thinking about were not available until 5:30. Guess what happened to be the savior and just around the corner from Yuerba Buena- XYZ! A cocktail each and the calamari with jalepeno peppers coupled with the chicken ragu with pasta, and we were happy girls. The food was solid, yummy and the perfect amount to share when you are hungry but not starving. I had the W Lemonade, as recommended by our adorable waitress (she looked like an elf and was very sweet), and it was tart but refreshing (fresh lemonade with crushed blackberries) but you do need to swirl it a bit to get the full effect. The decor was flawless as befits a W Hotel, and with the wind chill going on outside, the fire was very welcome. Definitely a solid option for a bite down in that area. Also, cool tip- you can use your tickets from Yuerba Buena to get 1/2 off on a bottle of wine at XYZ, and they have a great wine list so take advantage of it! |

I loved this place as a pre-party spot- great to meet friends there, grab some delicious appetizers and start off your drinks. People are friendly, atmosphere is fun. I enjoyed seating myself at this cool food lounge. I will most def go back there again, and have recommended to others already. |

Had lunch here a couple weeks ago. The food was just okay. The ambience at the restaurant is fantastic and the staff are attentive. I was very impressed with the dessert. Chef came out to greet patrons at the end of meals. |

Awesome atmosphere, interior is designed quite nicely. The food selection here is great. I especially appreciate the desserts. |
