Asia de Cuba in SF is a great place to dine on a weekend night. The atmosphere is great, the crowd is attractive, and you can have an amazing meal and start the night of right with one of many interesting cocktails. My favorite dish is by far the calamari salad, although you can't go wrong with the ahi or short ribs. I definitely prefer this location to the one at the Mondrian in LA, not only because of decor and seating, but the Hollywood location tends to make you feel like you are surrounded by business meetings...SF just has a better vibe. |

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at in S.F. and a great place to start the evening off. I've pretty much tried most to all the entrees on this menu, as well as, appetizers and you really can't go wrong with anything you order. My favorite appetizer is the Tuna Tartare and the Salmon for my entree, but again, everything on the menu is good. The ambiance is great, very dark lighting that sets a romantic and darker vibe, kinda reminds me of a restaurant that Beetlejuice would own if he had one, lol....Of course after dinner, head next door to The Redwood Room to turn it up a notch and keep the evening rolling, Enjoy! |

I had an intimate birthday celebration here with friends and it was one of my best birthdays so far. We were seated in the round booth so that all of us could hear and see each other. The rum bowls and desserts were most memorable and delicious. I love the hotel that the restaurant is situated in and the adjoining Redwood Room is nice place to lounge and mingle after dinner. |

Great for larger parties. The atmosphere is romantic- low lighting and candles. Customer service is wonderful and its always fun to stop by the redwood room on your way out. Family style serving. Try the infused plantains- To die for! |

This place is way overrated. I have heard lots of good things, but I could not have been more disappointed. Service was terrible, my butterfish was actually inedible, and the food took forever. I have had great luck with SF restaurants, but I would avoid this one at all costs. |

What an amazing Restaurant! I try to take my friends here for any special occasion. The service is impeccable and the food is to die for! I absolutely loved the Butterfish and the Lobster Boniato Mash. Top that with the Plantain Bread Pudding and you have a perfect dinner for 2. |
