By far the best sushi in town. With its constantly sexy vibes, good music and incredible sushi, it has been the best experience everytime I am there. Their sweet Lelani coctail and the Ritsu roll are a must try! |

Over the past 7+ years I have visited San Fran, I never had passed up a stop at this intimate and spectacular little place! Food is great, but the atmosphere is more impressive! Sake, beer and laughs flow non-stop! |

Blowfish and I have this love-hate relationship. I love it because its soooooo wrong that its right. Traditional is not a word ever used in their kitchen. All the rolls have their own Blowfish attitude to 'em and far from what the Japanese would expect to see from their amazing invention. Their crunchy California rolls are "sooooo right" and the deep fried gyoza is literally to die for (squeeze the accompanying lemon on them-its not for decor). The salmon sashimi is perfect since its sliced so thinly and presented like a pretty little flower. Makes it easy to eat raw fish and allows for the proper Omega 3 nourishment our brains so need. But, I can't help but hate them for ruining my expectations of sushi. Sushi is supposed to be healthy and really- not so tasty-I've dreamt about Blowfish's sushi. Yeah- I know.... |
