Koi is ok, there is lots of hype behind it with little delivery in my opinion. The Bar is very small and always crowded and cramped with nowhere to sit. The food is actually ok, the king grab legs are good in a soup sauce and there chicken entree in a spicy miso sauce is good. The sushi is fresh and pretty standard, nothing special or over the top. Koi is a major celeb hangout, which draws people to eat here, but all you will find is a small bar, ok sushi, lots of paparazzi and a few celeb sightings. I do feel it's a place that you should check out at least once just to cure your curiosty, but there are plenty of other great sushi/japanese restaurants that are better quality and less expensive. |

I just experienced Koi for the first time last night and it was truely amazing!! We walked in immediatly and went straight to our table and the sushi and saki were waiting for us... The crab stuffed hand rolls along with tuna topped with fried onions were among the many beautiful and tasty dishes they had to offer!! If you love sushi I highly recommend this place!! |
