Sake is the best item on the menu. Sashimi is alright and rolls are nothing special much better sushi in the City. Go here for the ambience not the quality of the cuisine. Pretty cool to go and hang out at the bar younger crowd. |

Do you like Sake? Ozumo literally has walls of it. Contemporary and Clean. Ask your server for the Sushi specials of the day. Ozumo has a tendency to offer something exotic and different. |

Authentic japanese experience, I would recommend the Gindara, but judging from my friends' plates, you can't go wrong. Don't forget your sake, huge selection. Just perfect in my opinion, and prices reflect the quality of the ingedients. |

Very crowded, will need reservations on a weekend. Best sushi I have found in San Francisco. Great decor with friendly wait staff with great sake recommendations. If you are feeling like a rockstar I HIGHLY recommend the Toro sashimi. Warning: This restaurant may ruin sushi at your neighborhood shushi bar, because I have yet to find anything that measures up, but if you have anything for me please let me know. |

Always a good vibe inside. The fish is fresh so I couldn't ask for more. Usually a packed house, i have celebrated many occasions there with family and friends. My buddie works next door at the Harbor Court hotel so you might see us there often.
P.S.- Don't mess with security there! haha |

LOVE Ozumo! I've been here twice, one in the main dining room and one in the private room decorated with cool bottles. It's full of energy (very busy - be sure to make reservations and have time for what could be a lengthy dinner) and it can be a great place to start a fun night. The sushi is very good (not the absolute best I've had but definitely worth trying), but the Toro here is fantastic, though. If you want to get your money's worth, try a new and exciting choice that you can't get at a 'standard options' sushi place. They have an extensive and unique sake selection - one bottle we ordered was really refreshing and had a cool imported fabric label with actual gold flakes for the inscription (a bottle of Kokuryu). I like how the bathroom plays excerpts on how to say American words in Japanese. The second time I went here we had an awesome waitress who was very knowledgeable about Japanese culture, food, and all types of sake...by the end of the night she taught us some funny naughty phrases in Japanese! In all, a fun modern sushi place and worth trying out - the only downside is the wait and sometimes the service is a bit slow because of how packed it can be. |

Went last night (friday) and had high expectations, based on the recommendations and hype i've heard on this restaurant. We arrived around 8pm and walked in to a welcoming, dimmed lite bar with great music being played by a live dj. Again, lots of guys with slim to none girls, as I mentioned in my Harlot review. Maybe it's just SF or the night I was in town, but barely any girls with tons of guys. Anyhow, got seated at the sushi tables in the main bar (which was great seating). I orderd the pan seared scallops in a mushroom rossoto which was amazing! Good sake menu and japanese beer selections as well. A bit pricey for the crowd/lack of women but all in all a great restaurant with great food, enjoy! |

I went here last weekend with a group and had a fabulous dinner. The sake choices were all delicious. My favorites of the night were the scallops and the sesame donuts with sesame ice cream. Great ambiance with great looking people to match. |

People may say the price is high, but I dont think so, its well worth a visit, I am hooked on this place, I am going back soon for sure!! |

My first experience with Ozumo was in the private room, where the guests had to dine with our shoes removed. The experience was more relaxed and we could hear the eclectic music from the bar area. The food was high on my list because of the freshness and variety they had to offer. |

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant in SF...I try to stop in almost everytime I return home to SF for a visit. Great food, great wine choices, and a perfect soothing ambiance. Also a fantastic spot for parties (in the private rooms to rent out). |

When you are eating something raw, it must be fresh & of high quality. Ozumos offers just that along with great ambiance and a sophisticated, great looking clientele. As with most quality sushi places…it’s not cheap! |

My Japanese roommate approves this place, so you know it's authentically delicious. Looks far better than Matsuhisa, unfortunately the sushi doesn't quite compare (hence 4/5 stars). Excellent Sake flights as well. |

The single best Japanese restaurant in San Francisco. Huge variety of menu options (all good!) and the decor and design suited for us. The place that always comes to mind when I have sushi on the brain. |

This place has great omakases. The chefs will cater to any dietary needs, restrictions, or preferences and still come up with a delicious variety of dishes for everyone at the table. The cooked items are flavored nicely and the sashimi and nigiri were definitely fresh and of great quality. I love this place and the ambiance and atmosphere is great. As a Japanese-cuisine fanatic, this place definitely is one of my favorite restaurants. |

Ozumo is an amazing dining experience! It has everything from the decor, to the atmosphere to the food! Make sure to make a reservation though, you can guarantee a crowd on any evening. However, if you decide to just walkin, dining at the bar is just as nice as sitting at a table. In my experiences the wait staff has also always been excellent, they know everything about the menu! So don't be afraid to ask questions! Enjoy! |

Ozumo is one of my favorite Sushi places. It has an ultra cool lounge area and the dining area is a blend of traditional japanese styling and modern minimalism. Be prepared to spend some money. Ozumo will tax your wallet, however, the dining experience is very rewarding. The view from certain seating positions in the dining room overlooks the embarcadero. It's a stunning view. As I said, one of my favorites Sushi restaurants. |
