Bucca di Beppo is one of the best authentic Italian places I have even been to. I don't know if the food is authentic but the atmosphere is very authentic Chicagoan Godfather-like. I like the family style eating as well. The food was very heavy and very good. Don't expect to do anything after you eat here. |

Ife ju vante benisimo cuccina Italiana and ju ar molto hungy, Bucca di Beppo is fantastico.
Their New York style Italian ambiance is great; it’s lively and engaging. I love photography so I enjoy looking at the hundreds of black and white photos of Italy and Italians in amusing circumstances that they have scattered throughout the restaurant.
Beware of the portions, they are huge! The first time I visited I was so full I got the impression that I was waddling as I walked out of there.
And don’t waste time conceiving on how to get one of the bottles of wine off the roof and into your glass without being noticed, they are empty, trust me I checked ;-)
