After making a grand entrance by descending the wide staircase, you feast your eyes on the cool and bustling dining room, which is decorated in black and white with huge mirrors for spying on the important people who dine here. It enjoyed a Studio 54-like heyday in the 80s, with Mr. Chow`s late wife Tina ushering in her fashionable rock star friends. Today Mich`l Chow still maintains his own 90s hip following. The food is haute Chinese, with great steamed mixed dumplings, squab with lettuce, chicken satay, green prawns, and fabulous Peking duck served on a trolley. Visiting Mr. Chow, you`ll find a place that specializes in a Chinese menu. |
