The name comes from the beloved chocolate lab of one of the owners, the crowd is consistent with the hipsters that frequent its sister location, The Dime, and the space is old-Hollywood-meets-modern-day scenester. Industry types abound, taking in the sounds spun by live DJs seven nights a week. But while the vibe is very LA, you won't have to deal with that obnoxious velvet rope. It's a "come as you are" bar, and if "as you are" means your hands happen to be well-manicured and your shoes are Bruno Magli, well all the better. |
